Serving coffee to your customers

Cafés and coffee shops, restaurants, hotels, golf clubs, bars and patisseries. We help you settle on a house espresso, agree a format and pack size you will get through, and get the cups and counter right. Opening a new venue? We can prepare a starting selection.

Selling coffee on to other people

Delicatessens, farm shops, retailers, cafés with a retail shelf and online resellers. We help you shape a range around your shelf space and customers, then discuss suggested retail pricing, indicative margins and a consistent presentation of the brand.

Why Caffè Vergnano

Why this coffee, and not another

  • Made the same way since 1882

Roasted on the hills of Turin since 1882, still by the same family. Slow Italian roasting of chosen Arabica and Robusta origins gives a thick, stable crema, low bitterness and the same cup delivery after delivery.

  • A bar range built as a system

The one-kilogram bar blends run from Classico 600 to Mille 1000 in a clear ladder of body and intensity, with a decaffeinated blend and an organic 100% Arabica beside them: a blend for every machine, milk share and price point.

  • Proven in the Caffè Vergnano 1882 cafés

The same blends are served every day in over 200 Caffè Vergnano 1882 cafés in more than 45 countries — upwards of 25 million espressos a year. Original, the 2.5 kg blend on this page, is their house coffee.

  • Responsible by design

Recyclable R-PET packs on the 1882 line, compostable Nespresso-compatible capsules, and the Women in Coffee project supporting women growers at origin: the answers a procurement checklist asks for.

Accounts, prices, delivery and dispatch

Prices

Public prices and quantity discounts are visible to everyone, before you register. Your account price appears once your trade account is approved and you are signed in. Larger volumes are quoted individually.

Order sizes

There is no minimum business order. Ordering by the case is more economical — often six units, though it varies by product and is confirmed for each one — and mixed cases can be agreed.

Delivery

Free delivery on UK mainland orders over £59 including VAT. Below that, the cost is calculated at checkout. Other UK areas and pallet deliveries are quoted individually. We do not ship outside the UK at present.

Dispatch

In-stock orders paid before 3pm, Monday to Friday, are dispatched the same working day, public holidays excepted. We use Parcelforce Next Working Day; the carrier’s timing is not something we can guarantee.

Ways to order

Online, by telephone, email or purchase order. Signed-in customers can repeat a previous order from their account history, and one account can hold several delivery addresses.

The range

The whole range, not the part that fits on a shelf

Founded in Turin in 1882, Caffè Vergnano brings more than 140 years of coffee experience. We have bought direct since 2018, which is why we can talk about the whole catalogue rather than the handful of lines another supplier happens to hold. The numbered 1 kg blends are explained in The Vergnano ladder.

If what you want is not on the website, ask. We order from Italy on a monthly cycle, so items outside our usual stock can often be brought in. Availability and timing are confirmed for each request, and specially sourced items are paid in advance.

For a winter menu, see The Winter Coffee Table, our free book of 24 autumn, winter and Christmas drinks for cafés. Each recipe gives the cup size, the quantities and the order to make it, built on Vincenzi syrups, Caffè Vergnano hot chocolate and your house espresso.

For hospitality

For the retail shelf

Cups, signage and the counter

A consistent presentation helps customers recognise the coffee you serve or sell. For hospitality venues and physical retailers we can discuss Caffè Vergnano merchandising — branded cups and crockery, counter materials, signage and retail displays. What is available is agreed with you; for businesses that buy regularly, many items may be provided at no charge, depending on volume, availability and the agreed arrangement.

Testimonials

What our business customers say

“I am Sicilian, so I am fussy about espresso. Crema Aroma have supplied us since 2020, and the Vergnano tastes the same in every single delivery — thick crema, proper body, no harsh bitterness. Orders arrive when they say they will, which leaves me nothing to worry about.”

Salvatore — Bottega Montalbano

“The coffee itself is excellent — our customers tell us as much — but what keeps me with Crema Aroma is how easy they make everything. A quick message and the order is sorted. Whether it is an extra box or a change of date, I only ever have to ask once. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and after all these years I have never had a reason to look anywhere else.”

Julie — Little Bohemia

“We value Crema Aroma as a business; the customer service and support are always handled promptly and smoothly, though we haven’t had many issues over the years. As an Italian Bar & Cafe, it is very important to us to have a continued supply of our favourite coffee brand Caffè Vergnano; our customers love it. Thank you, Chris, for always helping us with branded cups, etc…”

Questions

The questions we are usually asked

Can I try the coffee before I commit?

Samples are agreed individually after a first conversation, once we know which coffee is worth putting in front of you. Availability and terms are confirmed with you.

What if the coffee I want is not on the website?

Ask. We order from Vergnano in Italy monthly, so items outside our usual stock can often be brought in. Availability and timing are confirmed for each request, and specially sourced items are paid in advance.

What happens if something is out of stock?

Every product page has a back-in-stock notification you can join. For an expected return date, ask us — where it helps, we may be able to suggest an alternative in the meantime.

Can I collect instead?

Yes, from our base in Livingston, by arrangement in advance.
