AeroPress coffee maker

A full-immersion brewer that presses coffee through a paper microfilter in about a minute. Total immersion with a short contact time gives a clean, low-acid cup without the grit a press pot leaves behind. Light, compact and hard to break, it works as readily on a kitchen counter as in a rucksack.

Makes one to four cups per pressing. Grind medium-fine, add water just off the boil, stir, then press slowly — the whole cycle takes about a minute. The paper microfilter holds back the oils and fines that make press coffee heavy, so the result reads closer to filter than to espresso.

Made in the USA from BPA- and phthalate-free plastic. Rinse the chamber and plunger after each use and let them dry apart. Supplied with 350 filters; each one is single-use.
