A non-alcoholic Italian aperitif: bitter, sparkling, and red from organic black carrot juice out of Abruzzo rather than from dye. Bevande Futuriste call it the first organic aperitif of its kind.

Chilled, before dinner, where a Campari would otherwise go. Also a mixer — it carries a splash of something stronger without losing its bitterness.
