Gentile Preserves - Ready Tomato Sauce with Anchovies 320g

Ninety per cent diced tomato with anchovy, red chilli, basil and oregano, in Ravece extra virgin olive oil. The anchovy dissolves into the sauce and reads as depth rather than as fish.

Straight onto pasta, or under a pizza. It also gives a stew or a seafood dish a savoury base without needing stock.

Gentile have worked at Gragnano, in the hills behind the bay of Naples, since 1876. The preserves come from the same house as the pasta and from the same part of Campania.

Two hundred and fifty grams. Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, keep refrigerated and use within a few days.
