The Moka Express shape rebuilt for a modern hob. A steel base and funnel sit under the familiar octagonal aluminium body, so it runs on induction as well as gas, electric and ceramic — the one limitation of the original, removed. Fill the base to just below the safety valve, add moka-ground coffee to the funnel without pressing it down, and screw the top on firmly. Heat gently and take it off the moment the upper chamber fills. On induction, start at a low setting: the steel base couples efficiently and will run hot faster than a gas flame.

Hand wash in warm water and dry the parts separately before putting it back together. No detergent, no abrasives, no dishwasher. Check the washer and filter plate periodically for wear. Covered by Bialetti’s one-year manufacturer warranty.
