Caffè Vergnano 1882 Strong - Coffee Beans 2.5kg

The Original recipe rebalanced for people who found it too mild. Same origins, more force — and at 2.5 kg it is aimed at a counter where the house style is a short, dark shot rather than a long one.

Espresso, kept short. Where the Original tolerates a long pull, this one does not: extract it past its point and the strength turns to bitterness. Good under milk, and strong enough to survive a large flat white.

Roasted in Santena, just outside Turin, by a family that has made coffee since 1882. The roastery is deliberately slow about it — cycles of fifteen to eighteen minutes at 180–200°C rather than an industrial turbo roast — and each origin goes through the drum on its own, blended only afterwards so each keeps its own character. Two and a half kilograms of whole bean, for venues. Keep the bag sealed, cool and away from daylight; once open, use within a month while the crema still holds.
