Vincenzi Cinnamon Syrup (Cannella) 700ml – Glass Bottle

Cinnamon syrup from Vincenzi of Turin. Cinnamon flavouring and a natural cinnamon extract give the spice and plain caramel the colour, so a cappuccino gets its cinnamon in the cup rather than as a dusting of powder on the foam.

Add 2 cl (20 ml) to a cappuccino, latte or hot chocolate, the measure Vincenzi use in their own iced cappuccino recipe, and adjust to taste. It also goes into black tea, warm apple juice and cold drinks over ice. For a long drink, the label gives one part syrup to six parts water.

Vincenzi is a Turin family firm that has made syrups since 1930; this one is produced by Nuove Distillerie Vincenzi near Turin. Vincenzi make their syrups with refined sugar rather than glucose, and the watercolour on the label is by the Italian artist Barbara Fantaguzzi.
