Vincenzi Coconut Syrup (Cocco) 700ml – Glass Bottle

Coconut syrup from Vincenzi of Turin, from the maker’s cocktail syrup line. Unlike the darker Vincenzi flavours it has no caramel colour and pours clear: coconut flavouring and a natural coconut extract carry the taste, with a little citric acid. It goes into iced coffee as readily as into a mocktail.

Shake it into a mocktail, or top it with tonic or soda water over crushed ice. In coffee, add 2 cl (20 ml) to an iced latte or a flat white, the measure Vincenzi use in their own iced cappuccino recipe. For a long drink, the label gives one part syrup to six parts water.

Vincenzi is a Turin family firm that has made syrups since 1930; this one is produced by Nuove Distillerie Vincenzi near Turin. Vincenzi make their syrups with refined sugar rather than glucose, and the watercolour on the label is by the Italian artist Barbara Fantaguzzi.

700 ml glass bottle with an aluminium screw cap. Non-alcoholic and gluten free. Store at room temperature, out of direct sunlight.
