Delicius

Delicius is an Italian anchovy house, and Crema Aroma stocks its three tins for the pantry shelf and the pizzeria kitchen.

The company has been preserving fish since 1974; the anchovies are caught on moonless nights, when the shoals rise, and more than 70 per cent of the catch comes from certified fisheries. At Crema Aroma: anchovy fillets from the Strait of Sicily in olive oil, anchovy fillets in a spiced sauce (51 per cent fish under olive oil, wine, vinegar, sugar, tuna and mustard, so the tin contains a second fish, which matters for allergies) and mackerel fillets in organic extra virgin olive oil.
